How PizzaCup works

Tap the trailer to watch with sound, then skim the steps below if you want more detail.

1. Organizer creates the race

Sign in as an admin, name the race, set a date, and choose an anchor place so the map opens near your course. You can run more than one race on paid plans and switch between them from the race manager.

2. Plot checkpoints on the map

Add ordered check-in stops with a GPS radius. Optional route corners reshape the line without becoming timed stops. Import a GPX file when you already have a track. Round routes can finish back at the start. Sequential reveal can hide the next destination until the current checkpoint is completed.

3. Invite participants

Open registration and share the invite QR code or short event link. Racers open the link on a phone, register with email, and keep the same race identity across devices through passwordless magic links.

4. Validate every stop

When a racer reaches a checkpoint, PizzaCup checks their GPS against the configured radius. If accuracy is poor, they can scan that checkpoint’s QR code as a fallback. Progress, elapsed time, and stage rankings update as the field moves.

5. Control the live event

Organizers open registration, start the race for everyone, watch live positions, manage racer status, and finish the event when the course closes. Results and a podium are available from the same dashboard.

Use cases

Start with the use case closest to your plan. The same race tools adapt to each format.
